Target charts like this provided local details to allow the bomber formation begin its bomb run at a previously specified I.P. (Initial Point). The reverse side of the chart usually included photo-reconnaissance images of the target area with call outs for primary objectives and sometime areas that were not to be bombed (this was a particular concern in occupied France).
