ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast)

ADS-B is the core technology of next-generation systems of air navigation and air traffic control. It uses satellite-based navigation and positioning information broadcast between aircraft and ground stations. ADS-B provides better coverage and accuracy than previous networks of ground-based radio beacons and radar stations.
